Las Venturas Project aims to enrich the universe of Grand Theft Auto V by offering a new playground: the city of the game, Las Venturas
This is a long-term project: creating a region that takes time for Rockstar Games' artists obviously takes even more time for a team of enthusiasts. However, it also means that we are not subject to the same time and budget constraints as a video game studio: we are therefore completely free to undertake ambitious ideas that would never have been possible!
If you love the Grand Theft Auto license, its modding community or simply our project, consider contributing!
As fans of the license, respecting the lore is something that is very important to us, which is why our team has done months of research and documentation to make the world of Las Venturas Project as faithful as possible to what a Rockstar Games artwork could have been. Here are some examples of the art we've done so far:
The current mod includes a 3km² tile that includes part of El Castillo del Diablo, Heatstroke Highway, Historic Route 69 and several adjacent roads as well as our hotel The Melasuda.
Yes! In addition, an update will be available to donors every month including new portions new map sections, new buildings and any necessary fixes!
As currently planned (and this will necessarily evolve as the project progresses), the map will cover an area of 70km², almost as much as the original map of GTA V.
A first version "model" will be proposed to the supporters in December 2022, it will allow to illustrate its surface, the road network, the position of the most emblematic buildings of the city and the various districts, we will then work during the year 2023 to its progressive realization!
Yes! As soon as we deem the map complete enough, the mod will be available for free to the whole community.
Absolutely! As a community project, we are open to any participation: whether you want to join the creation team or want to join the creation team or participate in the elaboration of the lore and the development choices, we are open to development choices, we are open to all proposals from the community!
Currently not. In a future update, you will be able to access the map from the Los Santos International Airport.
